Agreement to terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of YTMP4 at ytmp4.live (the "Service"), operated by YTMP4 ("we", "us", "our").
By accessing or using the Service — including after accepting cookies or creating an account — you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use YTMP4.
You represent that you are at least 13 years old (or the age of digital consent in your country) and have the legal capacity to enter this agreement.
The service
YTMP4 provides an online tool that lets users submit YouTube video URLs and download converted MP4 files for personal use, subject to these Terms and applicable law.
We may offer free and paid tiers with different limits (e.g. daily downloads, quality options, ads). Features may change, be suspended, or discontinued at any time without prior notice.
Important: YTMP4 is a technical intermediary only. We do not host YouTube videos, claim ownership of third-party content, or grant any license to download copyrighted material without proper authorisation from the rights holder.
Acceptable use
You agree to use YTMP4 only for lawful, personal, and non-commercial purposes unless we explicitly authorise otherwise. You must not:
- Download or distribute content you do not have the right to access or copy
- Violate YouTube's Terms of Service, copyright laws, or other applicable regulations
- Use the Service to bulk scrape, automate abuse, or circumvent rate limits
- Attempt to reverse engineer, attack, or disrupt our servers or third-party integrations
- Upload malware, submit fraudulent payment information, or impersonate others
- Resell, redistribute, or publicly re-host converted files as a competing service
We may suspend or terminate access immediately if we believe you have violated these rules.
Copyright & DMCA
We respect intellectual property rights. YTMP4 does not pre-screen user-submitted URLs. You are solely responsible for ensuring your use of any downloaded content is legal.
If you are a copyright owner and believe content accessible through our Service infringes your rights, send a notice to support@ytmp4.live including:
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed
- Identification of the material and sufficient information to locate it
- Your contact details and a good-faith statement of unauthorised use
- A statement, under penalty of perjury where applicable, that the information is accurate and you are authorised to act
- Your physical or electronic signature
We will review valid notices and may disable access to infringing material or terminate repeat infringers where appropriate.
User accounts
Some features require registration. You must provide accurate information and keep your password secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account.

We may suspend or delete accounts that violate these Terms, remain inactive for extended periods, or pose a security risk.

We do not warrant that conversions will succeed, that files will be error-free, or that third-party platforms (including YouTube) will remain compatible with our Service. Downloads are at your own risk.
The Service may contain links to third-party sites. We are not responsible for their content, policies, or practices.
Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, YTMP4 AND ITS OPERATORS, AFFILIATES, AND SUPPLIERS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, OR (B) USD $10.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations — in those cases, our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.
